France coach, Didier Deschamps, rejected a request from his players for a night out before their 2026 FIFA World Cup third-place final with England on Saturday.
“According to L’Equipe, France’s players requested a free evening to clear their minds after their 2-0 semi-final defeat to Spain.”
However, Deschamps refused their request as he doesn’t want to end the World cup tournament with back-to-back defeats.
France squad had travelled from their World Cup training base in Boston to Miami on Thursday ahead of the England clash this weekend.
Recall that England lost 2-1 against Argentina in the semi-final encounter on Wednesday.
